We do not demand any production goals, although reaching certain milestones will come with benefits, including paid sharpening, a stipend for massage and chiropractic work, and more! An eye for perfection and a welcome attitude are critical for this role!

Reliability, consistency, patience, and attention to detail are all essential for success in this position. We prioritize applicants who can begin around 8 or 9 am, as well as those available for weekend shifts. Specific hours and days worked can be flexible!

Skills:

- 2+ years of grooming experience
- Skilled and compassionate hand drying and handling
- Polished hand scissoring
- Knowledge of various pet grooming techniques and styles
- Knowledge of animal behavior and ability to safely handle dogs with different temperaments
- Strong attention to detail and ability to deliver high-quality grooming services
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to follow instruction
- A strong focus on the pet's comfort and safety

Responsibilities:

- Complete grooming for dogs of all breeds
- Perform nail trim only appointments
- Handle pets with care and ensure their safety throughout the grooming process
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the grooming area
- Communicate with pet owners to understand their specific grooming requests
- Provide exceptional customer service and ensure customer satisfaction
- Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
